Suranne Jones

Sarah Anne Jones, better known as Suranne Jones, is an actress and producer from England. Sarah Anne Jones, better known by her surname, is an English-born actress and producer. Jones is a Greater Manchester native who joined Oldham Theatre Workshop to receive her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. A stage production, Wait Until Dark, she performed the role of Gloria aged eight. Her first appearance on screen in 1997 playing a character in an episode of "Coronation Street". It was in 2000 that she appeared on the show to perform the role of Karen McDonald. In the years following the departure of ITV's soap opera she played various roles in TV shows like "Vincent" The 'Strictly Confidential" as well as Harley Street.
